Luton Airport

City Breaks from Luton Airport

Luton Airport is dominated by low cost carriers so if you are looking for a short city break from LTN we suggest you try destinations from either Ryanair, easyJet or Wizz Air first. Predominantly an airport focused on leisure routes, you won’t have the same regular business type flights from say Heathrow, but there are a plethora of European destinations to take a short or weekend break, especially in summer months.

Luton to Amsterdam

If you are looking for a short and simple short break then consider Amsterdam. With year-round flights with easyJet it is possible to have a weekend jaunt without having to take time off. The earlies flights depart just after 6am and return can be late the next day. Although the obvious choice is to head directly into the centre of Amsterdam, do consider Rotterdam or The Hague as alternative weekend break destinations from Luton.
