The iconic Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress dating back to the 11th century, offers panoramic views of the city and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean beyond.
Outside of Malaga there are the traditional British favourites of Torremolinos and Benalmadena which are close to the airport. Further down the coast is the popular hotspot of Marbella.
